Now, here’s a school holiday club with a difference. Outdoor Survival Camps that take place 100% outdoors and all about the bushcraft! If your young one loves immersing in nature, tackling a challenge and learning new skills for life, they might just be a bushcraft kid!

Packed with exciting outdoor activities, Survival camps are one the wild-curious won’t want to miss. One day, your child might be collecting branches and crafting a den to shelter from the elements. The next, learning to safely build and cook on an open fire – perhaps using food they foraged from a woodland walk earlier. It’s ‘Smore’ fun than any bushcrafter can imagine at Survival Camp!

Our week-long Survival Camps only include activities suited to ages 7-16, carefully selected to ensure everyone enjoys an incredible experience and using the same tried and tested structure at each location. Children come away with plenty of helpful life skills, maximum fulfilment and memories they will never forget!

Whittling

Whittling is all about turning a simple stick into something amazing using just a knife, a little patience, and a lot of imagination. Campers will learn safe carving techniques while creating fun woodland crafts, building confidence, creativity, and practical bushcraft skills along the way.

Wilderness first aid

Wilderness First Aid teaches campers how to stay calm, think clearly, and handle everyday injuries when out in the wild. From treating cuts and bumps to learning basic emergency skills, it’s a hands-on activity that builds confidence, teamwork, and outdoor know-how.

Basic fire skills

Basic Fire Skills introduces campers to the art of building and safely managing a campfire in the great outdoors. They’ll learn how to gather materials, light a fire responsibly, and keep it burning — all while discovering one of the most important survival skills in bushcraft.

Advanced fire skills

Advanced Fire Skills takes campfire building to the next level, teaching campers how to light fires in tricky conditions using a range of traditional bushcraft methods. From sparks and tinder to fire lays and survival techniques, it’s a fun, hands-on challenge that builds resilience, patience, and real outdoor confidence.

Combat archery

Combat Archery combines the thrill of dodgeball with the skill of archery for an action-packed outdoor adventure. Using specially designed foam-tipped arrows, campers will dodge, duck, and team up in fast-paced games that build confidence, teamwork, and plenty of laughs along the way.

Archery

Archery gives campers the chance to test their focus, aim, and patience while learning how to safely handle a bow and arrow. Whether they’re hitting the target for the first time or improving their skills, it’s a fun and rewarding activity that builds confidence with every shot.

Camp wide events

Camp-Wide Events bring everyone together for big adventures, exciting challenges, and unforgettable memories around camp. From team games and woodland missions to evening activities and group competitions, these shared experiences are all about fun, friendship, and building camp spirit.

Camo & conceal games

Camo and Conceal challenges campers to blend into their surroundings using natural materials, camouflage techniques, and clever hiding skills. It’s a fun, action-packed activity that encourages teamwork, observation, and a little bit of sneaky bushcraft creativity.

Team work

Teamwork activities encourage campers to communicate, problem-solve, and support one another through fun outdoor challenges and games. Whether building shelters, tackling obstacles, or completing survival tasks together, campers learn the value of trust, cooperation, and working as a team.

Animal tracking

Animal Tracking teaches campers how to spot the hidden signs wildlife leave behind in the outdoors. From footprints and feathers to trails and clues, they’ll develop observation skills, patience, and a deeper connection with the natural world around them.

Water purification

Water Purification teaches campers how to find, filter, and safely clean water when out in the wild. Through hands-on bushcraft techniques, they’ll learn an essential survival skill while gaining confidence and respect for the importance of clean drinking water outdoors.

Shelter building

Shelter Building challenges campers to design and build their own outdoor shelters using natural materials and bushcraft techniques. It’s a creative, hands-on activity that teaches teamwork, problem-solving, and the importance of staying safe and protected in the wild.

Nature exploration

Nature Exploration encourages campers to slow down, look closer, and discover the wonders of the natural world around them. From identifying plants and wildlife to exploring woodland habitats, it’s a fun and engaging way to spark curiosity, adventure, and a love for the outdoors.

Orienteering

Orienteering teaches campers how to navigate the outdoors using maps, compasses, and natural clues. Through exciting challenges and woodland adventures, they’ll build confidence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to find their way in the wild.

Axe throwing

Axe Throwing gives campers the chance to learn a traditional bushcraft skill in a safe, supervised environment. With expert guidance, they’ll practise focus, coordination, and technique while enjoying the excitement of hitting the target and trying something completely different.
