THE WEEK
If you love theatre and want to learn while having loads of fun, then this is the theatre camp for you!
In partnership with Star Academy
Star Academy is a leading performing arts school in the North.
Star Academy is currently working in partnership across three of our sites in York, Leeds and Yarm.
Course
Monday – Friday: The school day runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Friday: Technical and dress rehearsals in preparation for the showcase performance!
Please note: On certain days, start and finish times may alter slightly due to the trip to the show, or when exciting surprises have been arranged. Notice of such changes will always be provided as far in advance as possible.
The Highlights
Perform On Stage
Throughout the week, you will rehearse some of the biggest numbers from the biggest musicals past and present, which you will then perform to a packed audience of friends, family and industry professionals. This is your chance to sing, dance and act on the West End.
Watch A Show
You’ll be dazzled by the bright lights as we take you to go and see one of the hottest productions around!
Masterclass
You’ll be treated like a real West End performer in our masterclasses with industry professionals! Discover choreography straight from the Stage, learn something new in stage combat, try acting for TV… our masterclasses are designed to teach you something new!
Be Yourself
Star is not only about performance, but about supporting and encouraging our students.We provide a safe and supportive environment for young people. Students are encouraged to exchange ideas, express themselves and most importantly, be themselves.
Master Classes
Masterclasses with the masters of the industry!
Alongside rehearsing for their performance, all our students take part in four exclusive masterclasses.
Masterclasses at our theatre summer school are all led by current performers or industry professionals. This is an excellent chance to see how a real star is put through their paces.
