Why This Exists #
We don’t do boring rulebooks. This isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about how we show up as a team to give children the best week of their lives. It’s our vibe, our energy, and our standard.
1. Look the Part #
- Camp tee? ✔
- Trainers you can run, jump, or dance in? ✔
- Big smile? Double ✔We’re role models. Kids copy what they see, so let’s show them what awesome looks like.
2. Safety = Non-Negotiable #
- Kids come first. Always.
- Safeguarding isn’t paperwork — it’s protecting trust.
- No one-to-one alone time. Ever.
- Hear something worrying? Pass it straight up to your manager.
3, Team Spirit #
- We’ve got each other’s backs. No lone rangers here.
- Jump in, muck in, support each other.
- If someone’s flagging, lift them. If you’re flagging, ask for help.
4. Attitude is Everything #
- Be positive — kids mirror your energy.
- Be fair — every child deserves your best.
- Be flexible — camp days don’t always go to plan (and that’s half the fun).
5. Tech Rules #
- Phones down, kids up.
- No scrolling or TikTok-ing mid-session.
- Photos/videos? Only if the manager says so.
6. Off-Duty Stuff #
- No alcohol or drugs anywhere near camp.
- No vaping/smoking in sight of kids.
- Meds? Tell your Site Manager so we can keep everyone safe.
7. Our Promise to Each Other #
- We bring energy, kindness, and respect.
- We make camp feel like the best part of a child’s holiday.
- We keep each other safe, supported, and laughing.
If It Goes Wrong… #
We’ll have the conversation. Sometimes that means a warning, sometimes it means leaving camp. Big stuff (like safeguarding) goes straight to the authorities.
The Adventure Camps Question #
Before you act, ask yourself:
“Would I be proud if a camper, parent, or manager saw me do this?”
If yes → go for it.
If no → rethink.
